To Frank, Lynn, Sean and Dana, I am so glad to have been apart of Frankie's life as well as your lives growing up together. I will always remember what Frankie did to serve our country and I am so grateful that I had the chance to know such a wonderful person. I will always remember the special long talks that frankie and I would have when he came home to visit. I Love you Frankie. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.
I was in charge of your pallbearers at your funeral. It was a great honor for me to help lay to rest a real HERO. Thank you for your service and your defense of all of us here safe in our houses and in front of our computers.
THANK YOU AGAIN

ALL MY LOVE ALAYS AND FOREVER AUNT JEANETTE
I have been thinking so much of Frank lately. I miss him terribly!!! I talk to him every day and I know that he hears me. He has actually come to me several times in my dreams. It has brought comfort. I will always love him. To Jamie... if you ever read this, I am sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel. Please be strong because I know that's what Frank would want. He's with you too. I love you Frank!
my brother was a wonderful man..not a day goes by that i dont think of him..he just was the kind of person that always put a smile on my face..i love you my dear brother..always and forever in my heart. I LOVE AND MISS YOU ! !

I want to thank everyone for the words of encouragement. It truly has helped me get through some of my darkest hours. Frankie was a great person with great values. He will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone. Words will never be enough to describe the pain I carry around with me everyday.
Thinking of Frankie everyday. We love you and miss you. We lite a candle at church on Sunday and my kids said a special prayer. It's so unfair you are gone. I know you will be in everyone's hearts forever. Love you cousin!
Hey Cutie Pie! I think of you everyday, but tonight the feelings are stronger then usual...more painful. I wish you were here. I miss you terribly. Love you forever.
I have the up most respect for Sgt Francis J Straub. I still think about the soldiers from the 1-111th. I worked with them daily. God bless the Straub Family
Frankie, you will never be forgotten. I am proud to have served with you and call you my friend and "brother". I will always remember when our unit went to Germany in 2000. You, Greer and I became the "Three Brothers" as the Sergeants all liked to call us. Memorial Day always brings you, "Punchy" and all the other guys we lost front and center in my mind. But that's nothing new, as I always think back on the good times, the beers, the laughter, and the friendship. Rest easy, brother, you earned your spot in the kingdom. Thank you, and may God Bless you, your family and all those who fell in service to our great country. Miss you, brother!

A prayer I said for Frank while he was serving:
I prayed for angels to guard you night and day
I prayed they would hover and keep harm away
If you hear the swish of wings or feel a gentle touch
I know God heard my prayer today and loves you very much.
