The philosophy is very simple and basic, Provide support and encouragement to the soldiers, and families and friends of those serving at Summerall.
I am the mother of a soldier with the 1/505 PIR.
The site was started more than a year ago by the mom of a soldier who had been stationed at Camp Summerall. She started the site with the same philosophy and we hope to pass the site along if required and sooner rather than later shut it down when Summerall is empty!
The site averages about 1800 hits a day, and has had a high of 10,000, we are approaching 140,000 hits since the site started.
I will not post any political or command information. This includes troop movements, casualty reporting, criticism, etc. There are thousands of blog sites for those wishing this type of outlet.
I will post troop support, tributes (once info is publicly released) and family related info.
